Who we are
The Cicero Firefighters Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built on a simple belief: when our community needs help, we show up. Founded and operated by members of Cicero Firefighters Union Local 717, our mission extends beyond the firehouse. While we proudly serve the Town of Cicero in times of emergency, the foundation allows us to support our community during life’s toughest moments.
Through the generosity of our community and supporters, we host two primary fundraising events each year — our annual Golf Outing and Hockey Tournament. These events allow us to raise funds that directly support individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
The money raised through the foundation helps provide financial assistance to Cicero residents in need, firefighters and their families during times of hardship, and families throughout the surrounding community. One of our most meaningful initiatives is our annual Christmas Drive, where we provide toys for children from families in need and deliver a full Christmas dinner so they can enjoy the holiday season with warmth and celebration.
At our core, the Cicero Firefighters Charitable Foundation exists to serve the community that supports us. Whether responding to emergencies or helping neighbors through difficult times, we believe in standing together and making a lasting difference.
